CLT Eats – A Charlotte Restaurant Review

I’m picky and I like good food. Lunch is my oasis in the day and I don’t want to waste it on a bad experience. I’m frequently asked for advice on local restaurants (or made fun of) so this is a simple little place for me to track my experiences and opinions and share them with my friends and other like-minded Charlotteans.

What are my qualifications you ask? A culinary degree? Years slaving away as a chef in an upscale kitchen? No, just poor grammar skills and a broken fridge. Seriously, it broke and I haven’t bothered to fix it because I eat out that often.

I strive to go above and beyond most information you can find posted about restaurants in Charlotte. I give my honest opinion and include photos of the menu, interior and food. Seeing a menu helps give you the reader a better understanding of what the restaurant is about and seeing pictures of the interior and food describe better than I can what to expect.

Just to be clear, menus and pricing are as of the date I visited the restaurant and not necessarily the date the article is posted and certainly not the day you’re reading. I don’t work for these places so I don’t plan on keeping their menu up to date. Also, I’ll try to categorize restaurants as either Cheap, Mid-Priced, or Expensive. This isn’t a reflection on bang for the buck or anything like that. It’s simply my opinion on how much pain my wallet feels when I go there. Last, I’ll add a recommendation to each review that is typically a pass/fail. Some will pass more than others and some will fail more than others. This is my own opinion based on my experience.
